2025 Grammy Awards: 19 Grads on 13 Winning Projects
Full Sail students attended a Grammy viewing party to celebrate grads who contributed to 2025’s Album of the Year, Best Country Album, and more.
Last night at the 2025 Grammy Awards, 19 Full Sail graduates were credited on 13 winning projects in 15 categories, including Best Rock Album, Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Best R&B Album, and Best Latin Pop Album.
Full Sail grads Stuart White and Colin Leonard both won individual Grammys for their engineering work on Beyoncé’s hit genre-defying album Cowboy Carter, which won Album of the Year and had a historic win in the Best Country Album category.
Grad Dominique Jones, aka DOE, won in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album category for her album Heart Of A Human.
Meanwhile, students on campus joined in on the award night fun with a viewing party at Full Sail Live. Attendees donned their finest evening wear for the event and walked the red carpet in true award-show fashion.
Student production crews helped bring the event to life in the venue, where Music Production students served as DJs, while Show Production students manned the front-of-house and volunteers from SPARK recorded and produced live coverage.
Incoming guests shared who they were wearing and which artists they came to see win during interviews conducted by Music Business students Lorianne Hyre and Valeria Alvarez, who also serve as coordinators at Full Sail’s in-house artist development initiative, 3300+ Climbing.
“This is a huge night for the music industry, and it was wonderful to have these future music business professionals participate and experience such a special event at Full Sail,” shared Music & Entertainment Business Program Director Israel Vasquetelle.
Students were treated to free food and soft drinks during the industry’s biggest night, plus many opportunities to win amazing music-themed prizes, from Apple AirPods to an electric guitar.
