Career Advisory and Industry Outreach

Career development services are open to your student throughout their education. Our advisors partner with campus and online students to develop a career plan, helping them with everything from industry advice to conducting practice job interviews.

From day one, your child will have access to an extensive library of industry-focused materials to aid them in researching careers, preparing for applications, and more. Career Development works to stay updated on industry-specific hiring trends and can help your student find the most relevant websites, networks, and resources suited to their interests and focus.

While Career Development supports students through their career search, our Industry Outreach team maintains relationships with employers to provide insight into the offerings of Full Sail University and the capabilities of our students and graduates. Through relationships with companies and organizations including ABC Disney, WWE, Epic Games, and ESPN, Full Sail’s career services are committed to helping your child connect with their dream career.

Preparing for Graduation

As your child gets ready to graduate, Career Advisors will be able to help with identifying strategies to help them find the job they’re looking for.

Prior to graduation, your child will be able to develop a multifaceted employment strategy through one-on-one appointments with their industry-specific advisor. This includes strategizing on career paths and location options, tailoring cover letters and résumés to specific companies, conducting practice interviews or reviewing demos, and focusing all of their available efforts on finding a position.

Career Advisors will also share networking opportunities to help your child meet potential employers while our rich alumni network provides unique chances for them to engage in their industry of choice through seminars, virtual mixers, and more.

After Graduation

Being committed to the career-long success of graduates means Full Sail offers career services long after graduation. Full Sail’s Career Development department will be available throughout your child’s career, keeping them up to speed as trends come and go and the professional landscape evolves.

Your child’s assigned Career Advisor will keep them apprised of new and exciting opportunities that they may qualify for, sharing job leads from Full Sail’s extensive network of employers and industry professionals.
