Drew White knows what it’s like to start from scratch. Drew graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Archaeology (thanks to a lifelong admiration of Indiana Jones), but then proceeded to work for his family's real estate business. Then, he decided law school was going to be his next step, and was preparing for the admissions process by studying for the LSAT. However, a couple of weeks before the test, Drew decided, instead, to enroll in Full Sail University’s Digital Arts & Design bachelor’s degree program.

This was a fresh start that aligned more closely with his passion, and Drew graduated from the program with six Advanced Achievement awards and the honor of being valedictorian of his graduating class. He also says that he picked up one of the best pieces of life advice during his time at Full Sail.

After Full Sail, Drew created LYTR, an animation and motion design company based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Drew’s portfolio has included work for companies such as Nike, YMCA, Red Bull, and Cisco, garnering multiple awards – two Tellys, six ADDYs, and three Emmys – along the way.

One of his most recent accolades took Drew back to his roots. At an induction ceremony in March, he was among three Flagler Palm Coast High School graduates to be inducted into the school's Fine Arts Hall of Fame. Eric Rosenfeld, Digital Arts & Design Program Director and one of Drew’s mentors, was invited as the keynote speaker for the ceremony, and Drew capped his acceptance speech by encouraging the students in the audience that they should “go to school for something you love to do and have a passion for.” After all, as Drew can attest, it may take a couple of tries to find the right path.
