With these interactive, digital courses, students can learn from anywhere and at their own pace – all for free. Each program is designed to give you a look into the world of media and entertainment through fundamental concepts and tutorials on production-based software tools.
Music and Recording
The free Music and Recording online courses teach students the fundamentals of music production. Students can learn skills like how to record and mix vocals and how to create audio effects and MIDI effects. The series also includes tutorials for using software like Ableton, Odesi, and GarageBand.
In the free Game Design online courses, students have the opportunity to learn how to create games from concept to creation. Video tutorials walk students through the essentials of using the Unreal game engine in areas like playtesting, creating character blueprints, and building a basic enemy. They also learn concepts of game design for simulator games, arcade games, scrolling games, and puzzle games.
Full Sail Labs designed these courses to help students explore potential career opportunities and realize their creative potential. For more information about these free online courses, as well as summer camps and community events, check out Full Sail Labs.
