Full Sail’s Fall High School Esports Series Presents Gaming Careers to Teens
Esports series brings virtual education sessions and esports tournaments to Florida high school students.
Full Sail University’s virtual Fall High School Esports Series is a four-day gaming event created to engage with high school students looking to learn more about careers in the video game industry and opportunities to play games competitively on both the professional and collegiate levels.
Students will have the chance to learn from the pros about working in gaming through a series of virtual learning sessions focused on a variety of topics relating to the industry. This Full Sail-sponsored event will also give high school students the opportunity to compete in esports tournaments featuring Rocket League and Fortnite for a chance to win a $10,000 Full Sail scholarship.
The series will be offered twice during the fall of 2020, featuring a 3-v-3 Rocket League tournament from November 4–7 and a 1-v-1 Fortnite tournament from November 11–14. Eligible registered students will be able to join the High School Esports Series Discord server to stay connected throughout each series.
Free-to-join virtual learning sessions and finals for both series and the subsequent award ceremony will be broadcast live to the Full Sail Armada Twitch channel starting November 4.
