Students from Full Sail’s Web Design & Development (now called Web Development) and Mobile Development degrees welcomed Ignacio Garcia-Huidobro last month to the EB Auditorium for a conversation about the business of UX. Garcia-Huidobro, who graduated from the Digital Arts & Design degree program in 2008, is a founding partner of UX Dev Summit South Florida.

Ignacio spoke to students about the importance of user experience in all facets of development. In addition to UX, he said that every stage of the product, from design to development, contributed to the experiences of the consumer.

“A good user experience gives you a competitive edge” said Garcia-Huibobro. “At the end, you want to connect emotionally with the customers. And that’s important because when they come back, they become loyal.”
