An outstanding demo reel is a great way to showcase your work – and it's often a determining factor in landing a gig or a job interview.

Ken Maruyama, Sony Pictures Imageworks' Vice President of Global Academic Relations, recently visited Full Sail and talked to students about his company's work (their visual effects and animators have worked on OZ: The Great and Powerful, Men in Black 3, and more) and what they look for in resumes, portfolios, and demo reels. We were able to sit down with Ken for a few minutes before his presentation, and he shared with us his five demo reel tips. Check them out in the video below.
