Personalized Help from the Start
From day one, Full Sail’s Online Student Liaison team is here to guide you through the first parts of your program. In the beginning, this team can help you complete enrollment documents and other tasks before you even start your classes.
“We know how overwhelming the enrollment process can be, so our goal is to break things down into bite-sized pieces,” says Nicole Lacroix, Full Sail’s Director of Online Student Liaison. “This allows us to get to know students on a very personal level so that we can provide them a very catered outreach strategy and resource guide for their own personal success.”
Navigating Tools & Resources
Liaisons help familiarize students with the main platforms they will be using, including Full Sail Online for their classes, as well as Full Sail One and Voyager One to access other information and resources.
Additionally, liaisons can connect students to any other department or resource within the university. The team also helps students learn time management strategies and other approaches to succeed as online learners.
Real Connections, Even Remotely
The team holds virtual sessions on Zoom a few times per month so students can connect with these liaisons, instructors, and peers. There are even opportunities for online students to make in-person connections with other students who live in their area.
“It's so much easier to do online school when you have a support system,” adds Nicole.
Proactive Support When You Need It
They also collaborate with instructors to help any students who might need time off, tutoring, or who fall behind in their classes.
“We are a very proactive team by nature. The earlier we know about something, the more resources we have to assist students,” she explains.
Online student liaisons are available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 8 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern. They can be reached by phone, text, or email.
