Full Sail
Support at Every Step for Master's Degree Programs
Support resources for your entire educational journey
At Full Sail, our accelerated courses and immersive education set us apart. But we're unique for another reason too: Before you even apply and long after you graduate, someone at Full Sail has your back. Here's a look at the support resources we provide throughout your educational journey.
Before you start
Your first step is to reach out to us. Request information online or call Full Sail at 800.226.7625. Then, an admissions representative will get back to you, sometimes within a few minutes.
Begin the conversation
Once you've put in a request, our team will work with you to schedule an admissions interview. In this 30-minute conversation, we'll discuss your plans, the programs you're considering, and what you need to know about the graduate admissions process.
Your admissions rep will also talk about the things that make Full Sail different, including our real-world teaching style, graduate admissions requirements, and accelerated degree programs.
Want to visit the campus? Full Sail offers two options: daily campus tours and monthly, degree-focused Behind the Scenes Tours. Learn more about tours and book your own here.
Application and Enrollment
After your admissions interview, the next person you'll work with is your enrollment guide. They'll help take you through some important enrollment steps, including:
- Applying
- Financial aid
- Housing
- Admissions documents
- Credit by examination
- International students
- Registration
At each of these phases, someone will be there to answer your questions and make sure you're on track.
Applying
Your enrollment application is an online form. You'll just need basic information about your previous education.
Financial aid
A member of our Financial Aid department will be in contact with you to discuss your options for funding your education, including grants, loans, work studies, and scholarship opportunities. To get started, you'll need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA.
Housing
Relocating to our area for a campus program? Full Sail's Housing Resources department is here to help you find a place to live. They can provide a list of nearby apartment complexes and connect you with other Full Sail students seeking roommates. They're also here to help with options for families, pet policies, and finding furniture. Check out our housing guide for more info.
Enrollment documents
Once you're ready, your enrollment guide will direct you to our digital enrollment process, called Launch. This will set you up with a dashboard of your to dos before you start, so all of your information is in one place.
Credit by examination
Students who have at least five years of management and/or leadership experience may be eligible for credit by examination (CE) for the following graduate degree programs: Business Intelligence master of science, Digital Marketing master of science, or the Entertainment Business master of science. A maximum of five courses may be considered for credit by examination. Your enrollment guide can help get you set up for credit by examination tests.
International students
The International Student Center houses our international admissions, enrollment, and student support teams to help you through every step of the journey. They can help with things like visa prep, F-1 visa advising, OPT/STEM application assistance, and a lot more. Find more information here.
Start date
To complete the application process, you'll choose the month you'd like to start school and sign up for orientation. From here, you'll be assigned an academic advisor. Your enrollment rep will make sure to pass along everything your advisor needs to know and will be available for any questions you have about the process.
While you're a student
Orientation
This week-long, on-campus and online event will give you a comprehensive introduction to Full Sail University. We'll walk you through important steps, like registration and receiving your LaunchBox, and you'll get a chance to meet faculty, staff, and your fellow classmates.
Academic Advising
Once you're enrolled, you'll be assigned an academic advisor. You can ask them for advice on things like your class schedule, your degree path, and any challenges in your way.
Their goal is to see students from orientation through graduation. If anything starts to derail your goals, you can reach out to your academic advisor. They'll share guidance on things like getting connected to tutors and graduation requirements.
Peer Tutoring and Student Success Services
Need some help understanding an assignment or another set of eyes on your work? Our CoPilot Center is the hub for campus and online students looking for help in general education and core courses.
We offer Peer Tutoring, a Writing Center, and Math Tutors with open-door "walk-in" hours throughout the week. Students can access these sessions online or in-person. You can also drop in on a tutoring session through our student intranet, Full Sail One, or schedule a time to meet online with a tutor outside of open-door hours. Keep an eye out for Student Success Seminars, writing labs, and math labs for online and in-person workshops throughout the year.
Full Sail provides equal access to all students, including those who qualify as persons with disabilities. Learn more about our facilities and services for students with disabilities here.
Career Development
One of your most valuable support resources as a Full Sail student is our Career Development department. They work with you to prepare you for success in your industry by focusing on your potential career opportunities.
Campus and online students can access open-door hours with our Career Development team to talk one-on-one about things like developing a personal brand, industry research and resources, resumes and cover letters, interview tips, career strategies and planning, portfolios, and demo advice.
They also host alumni for on-site visits and lectures, sponsor alumni events, and maintain an online community for networking and support.
Three months before graduation, you'll be assigned a primary career advisor who will stay with you throughout your career, even after you graduate. These staff members have industry-specific backgrounds and experience with what students might face in their prospective job market.
After graduation
Even after you leave Full Sail, Career Development will stay in touch with you and continue to be a resource throughout your career. Grads still have access to career advisors and all of the resources provided by the department – including online workshops, hiring events in different cities across the country, and job lead searches.
And since our industries move fast and evolve constantly, we allow our graduates to come back for free to audit any current class in their degree program.
