The Advantages of Flexible Enrollment
Jumpstart your education online before coming to campus.
At Full Sail, we are dedicated to being creative problem-solvers, finding ingenuity in technology, and fostering a vibrant community of teachers and learners. One example of this dedication is our Flexible Enrollment program. This program gives students the benefits of saving time and money by starting their education online and finishing on campus. Here's what you need to know.
What Is Flexible Enrollment?
The Flexible Enrollment program at Full Sail gives students the chance to take up to six months of classes online at the beginning of their degree program. Then, they can continue the rest of their education on campus.
Students in the Flexible Enrollment plan utilize the same curriculum as the on-campus degree programs, so students will be ready to jump right in when they come to campus. Plus, students are shipped a laptop and other essential software and hardware through Project LaunchBox so they can get started with the equipment they need.
What Are The Benefits of Flexible Enrollment?
Flexible Enrollment is a great option for students looking to save money on living expenses and housing before starting classes on campus. This gives students more time to secure housing, solidify relocation plans, or find a roommate.
It's also a great way to start classes sooner to get a head start on your education from wherever you are.
"You do not have to delay your education, which is a big benefit," says Tom Lacroix, Full Sail University's Vice President of Admissions. And, he explains, with less time on campus, plus our accelerated learning model, students can save even more money. "Another benefit of accelerated learning is that students spend much less money for room and board," he says.
Plus, says Tom, since Flexible Enrollment students take classes both online and on campus, they get to network with more students. "They have the same ability to interact with, meet with, chat one-on-one with, work, and collaborate with both campus and online students."
