International Students, You've Graduated. Now What?
Published on Jan 7, 2021 by Bridgette Cude
Alumni discuss post-graduation options for international students in employment and optional practical training (OPT).
At Full Sail, community and collaboration are woven deep into the fabric of the school. Nowhere is that more evident than with Full Sail's International Student Society. The diverse social group offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to connect and celebrate each other's cultures and traditions.
One way they serve the community is through regular webinars and sessions on topics that help international students navigate things like culture shock, networking, mentorship, and post-graduation.
In this session, a panel of international Full Sail grads from multiple degree programs talk about their experience after graduation as well as Optional Practical Training (OPT). They discuss how they've been able to find work amid COVID-19 restrictions, how to take advantage of OPT, and other advice for international students.
